Cancelling Shares

An overview on how to record a cancellation for shares.

On Capdesk, you can cancel shares in different ways, depending on how it should be reflected: either keeping record of a transaction or revoking its issuance.

1. Go to Ownership > Shares > Transactions.

2. Click Shares > Register Offline Share Cancellation.

3. Choose the relevant shareholder by clicking on their name. 

4. Input the relevant cancellation information.

5. Click Save Draft or Publish and Notify Shareholder.

Cancelling Shares With Share Numbers

Share numbers for share issuances is only available to Danish companies.

1. Go to Ownership > Shares > Transactions.

2. You can review the share number in the Share numbers column.

2. Click Shares > Register Offline Share Cancellation.

3. Choose the relevant shareholder by clicking on their name. 

4. Input the relevant cancellation information ensuring you add the Share Numbers in the respective field. Ensure you enter the correct share numbers associated with the shares that should be cancelled.

5. Click Save Draft or Publish and Notify Shareholder.
