With Capdesk, you can place an exercise order for your options or warrants, sign the exercise notice and receive instructions to transfer funds.

If you hold grants with a company that is using Capdesk, you can be invited to exercise them.
You will be asked to state how much equity (options or warrants) you would like to exercise and sign all relevant documentation. The payment for the exercise will be handled externally.
When the company open an exercise window (period when you can exercise), you receive a notification on your e-mail:
1. Click on the green button Exercise your options and log in/sign up to your account. You can also access the exercise transaction from your dashboard page, by pressing exercise now on the banner.
2. Read the exercise overview and click I understand.
3. Enter the amount of options that will be exercised. If you have multiple grants, you will input how many options will be exercised in each grant. The platform will automatically calculate the exercise cost.
The blue banner will show a message from the company, which will normally provide payment instructions - please contact the company directly if the payment instructions are not included. The orange banner will indicate the expiry date of the grant if you have any options that you don't exercise.
4. Click Request exercise.
5. You will be redirected do DocuSign to sign the relevant documentation related to your exercise. Click CONTINUE to review the document.
6. Review the document and click Sign.
7. Review your Full Name and Initials and click ADOPT AND SIGN. Your signature will be populated in the document.
8. Click FINISH at the top of the page to complete the process.
9. You will be redirected back to Capdesk and be presented with a confirmation of the exercise request.
10. You will also receive an email containing the payment instruction provided by the company. Please contact the company directly if the payment instructions are not included in the email.
11. Once payment is made, the company will need to approve the exercise which will convert your holdings into shares. You will also receive a confirmation email once this is completed.
