You can easily modify stakeholder details and keep them up to date on Capdesk.
Once you have registered options, you may come across a situation where a modification on stakeholder details is necessary, either by a change or to adjust an incorrect information.
1. Navigate to Equity Awards > Options.
2. Click the Actions Button on the right-hand side of the grant > Change grant details.
3. Navigate to Edit grantholder details and click Edit grantholder.
4. The following details can be modified:

Stakeholder details:
- Stakeholder category - the categories are used to describe the stakeholder type. These don’t impact the access levels. Find full category descriptions here.
- Stakeholder label - allows you to enter a free text tagging, only shown in the cap table report and in the basic information on the cap table drawer.

Current legal name:
- First name
- Middle name
- Last name
- Personal email

Current legal address:
- Address
- Postal code
- City
- Region
- Country

Personal details:
- Date of birth
- Mobile number
- Personal ID - National identification number, national insurance number or social security number.
- External stakeholder ID - an external stakeholder ID is an ID registered for this stakeholder by your company, only if applicable.
- Pledges and liens
- Notes and Documents: This is for any external notes that may relate to the optionholder you would like to acknowledge, the documents may be for any optionholder agreements you may have. To add the document, click Add document and then choose the file you would like to upload.
6. Click Save to record the new details.
If you have any certificates or agreements in which you wish to change populated grantholder's information, you would need to first change the grantholder's details and then reissue the certificate or agreement as information will not automatically update on documents once they had already been generated in the platform. |
